Location

How do you get to the farm? We are located in a very rural location in north-central Montana, but that is what makes this race so unique!

The physical address of the farm and race location is 4570 Road 200 North, Inverness, MT, 59530. The most direct way to get to the farm for most people will be to travel north from Rudyard, MT. Please note and plan ahead that it takes about 30 minutes to drive to the farm from Rudyard. The map indicates that it takes over one hour to get to the farm, but that would only be if you drive very, very slow. (In other words, the map is wrong in it's sense of time.)

You can get a idea of where the farm is located from the map below. Keep reading below the map for a written-out list of directions to the farm from Rudyard as well as from Inverness.

Directions to Bangs Family Farms From Rudyard:

  • Turn north from Highway 2 into Rudyard, MT and proceed straight through town, then on for 20 miles. At mile 10, road turns to gravel.
  • At mile 20, you will come to a four-way intersection with Road 200 North. At this intersection you will see a small, quaint church: Goldstone Church. At this intersection, turn left (west).
  • Proceed for 5 miles and Bangs Farms will be on your left.

Directions to Bangs Family Farms From Inverness:

  • Turn North From Highway 2 into Inverness, MT and proceed through town. You will make 2 correction curves 1 mile north of town, but stay on the main road to head north.
  • Proceed North for 20 miles, at which point you will turn right (east) onto Road 200 North. It will look like you're driving through the middle of a farm yard, but you are on the correct road.
  • After turning onto Road 200 North, drive east for 1 mile, and Bangs Family Farms will be on the south side of the road.
  • We attempted to do a second Google map from Inverness, but it was cluttered and confusing in relation to the one above.

We will have a sign on Road 200 North, both from the Rudyard side and the Inverness side, pointing toward our farm to help you out along the way. You'll see this sign (below) in the driveway of our farm and you'll know you've made it to the right place!
